'The no 1 Ladies Detective Agency' Premier

HDHUB handled the Premier of the Feature Film 'The no 1 Ladies Detective Agency' in Botswana, directed by the late Anthony Minghella. The film was shot entirely on location in Botswana and the premiere was seen as a very import event for the country. The prestigious event was attended by the President of Botswana, Seretse Khama Ian Khama.

Tim Bricknell, the film's producer did not want to compromise any quality and asked for the premier to be equal to anything he could view in London or Los Angeles. The HDHUB setup a Sony SRX110 4K digital cinema project in the Venue along with a surround sound audio system. The image was projected from a HDCAM SR master tape.

The SRX110 projector is state of the art said HDHUB's Jacques Mc Donald. It was great to be given the opportunity to show it to its best advantage and the quality of the projected image from the HDCAM SR tape was jaw dropping.

We had been on location during the shooting of the film providing HD rushes services, so it was great to return to Botswana and see the finished film and the reaction of the audience, added Mc Donald.
